ABOUT
Dan Olsen is a colorist and post-production supervisor whose work frequents documentary, outdoor, and independent film festivals across the globe.
As post-production supervisor for action sports powerhouse Teton Gravity Research (TGR) in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Dan ran post for award-winning films such as Jeremy Jones' Higher and Kissed by God: The Untold Story of Andy Irons. It was with TGR that Dan gained his keen eye for color grading, bringing the imagery for over a dozen films and countless short form projects to life.
In 2019, Dan broadened his knowledge of media and entertainment by joining the fantastic team at Cosmic Pictures. At Cosmic, Dan supervises post-production for BYUtv's Making Good and colors everything from music videos to commercials and documentary films. He's stayed true to his roots in action sports and documentary filmmaking, and recently teamed up with Travis Rice and the Natural Selection Tour team for the famed event's highly anticipated revival.
Dan currently resides in the foothills of the Wasatch in Salt Lake City, Utah, with his wife, Theresa. Continuing the pursuit of post-production prowess during the day, he also earned his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Utah with a Graduate Certificate in Operations in 2022.
